Tumbleweed Communications announces WorldSecure 2007 Award Winners

Winners demonstrate innovation, security and original use of technology in email and managed file transfer

Redwood City, Calif. – June 26, 2007 – Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: TMWD), the industry's leading pure play messaging security vendor, today announced the winners of the WorldSecure 2007 Awards. The awards recognize enterprises that have deployed innovative messaging security solutions, from email to file transfer, that establish models for other enterprises to follow.

2007 winners include Raytheon, JP Morgan Chase, and Gambro BCT. Winners were determined based on three criteria: uniqueness of solution, adoption of security best practices, and ease of use for end users.

Best Email Security Encryption Deployment – Raytheon
Raytheon was recognized for their innovation in content filtering and encryption. The company has implemented a system that ensures that critical data is safe from email leakage. They combined a robust policy engine with real-time deep content scanning and encryption.

Best Enterprise Infrastructure File Transfer Deployment – JP Morgan Chase
JP Morgan Chase was recognized for their development of a world class managed file transfer infrastructure to meet substantial file transfer complexity and volume, driven by their aggressive M&A activities and constantly changing business demands.

Customer Innovation Award – Gambro BCT
Gambro was recognized for their innovative approach to better serve blood center customers while rigorously protecting their patient health information. The company implemented a new Internet-based method for data collection and transfer from 185 sites that aggregates medical machine data information for centralized analysis.
