PGP Corporation’s CEO to Keynote IDC Security Forum with IBM Security Executive

Joint Presentation on “Promoting Value by Defending the Data”
to Open the Forum

Palo Alto, CA/18 September, 2007 – PGP Corporation, a global leader in enterprise data protection, today announced that Phil Dunkelberger, the company’s president and CEO, will jointly deliver the keynote address at the 4th Annual IDC Security Forum in New York on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at the Millennium Broadway Hotel. The opening session will be co-presented with Julie Donahue, Vice President, Security and Privacy Services, at IBM Global Technology Services.

Dunkelberger and Donahue will present their shared vision of enterprise data protection and its impact on customers, business, and society. The Presentation will also focus on the intrinsic value of data and the magnitude of the costs of lost data, both in terms of reputation and in real dollar losses. To solve this problem, organizations need an integrated, comprehensive, data-centric security solution that can tie into multiple areas of the network to secure data at rest, in motion, and at all endpoints.

“I’m looking forward to co-presenting the opening session with IBM and commend IDC for putting together a first-class Security Forum to address the critical issues security and IT executives face today,” said Dunkelberger. “Global enterprises and governments struggle to comply with regulations that require the development and implementation of best practices for keeping sensitive customer/citizen information secure. We share with IBM the belief that you must ‘defend the data’ and have a comprehensive approach to secure that data, wherever it resides.”

The 4th Annual IDC Security Forum brings together security and IT executives for a day of education, networking, collaboration, and innovation. This year’s conference will feature Insight from leading enterprise security practitioners, Technology solution providers, and subject matter experts addressing key security and business continuity concerns associated with messaging. The agenda covers priorities ranging from enforcing and tracking Messaging Compliance to proactive strategies for ensuring intellectual property stays where it should be: inside the enterprise. A video recording of the keynote speech will be available after the Forum closes on the PGP website: www.pgp.com
